(Donated by Daniel McCarthy)
This 1970 Spring/Fall red nylon jacket was donated by Daniel McCarthy to ASA in 2009. Note the red colour, this would become a predominate league colour for the next decade. All the all-star teams where red and white. I guess the little one sided zipper pocket was for your game supply of bubble gum.
The Crest on the jacket was suited to the times. It was a felt stamping on a canvas backing and glued onto stitchable backing. This was the only year known for this crest. This could possibly be the first known Alderwood jacket and league crest
