In a 3 game decision for the Ontario Championship, Grimsby would beat Alderwood 8-1in the opener due to illegal pitches. In game two pitcher Rod Favreau would make a comeback by sticking out nine players and obtaining a no-hitter game. Alderwood forced Grimsby to a third game with their 5-0 win.
The Game, which tied the best of three was played at Etobicoke Valley with record crowds. The next game is for the Ontario Championship.
Final game was held on “A” diamond in front of a record crowd
of about 500 people
